Broken Arrow

Missed the mark when out for a walk
Only to find the things left behind
Trail of these things these things being dreams
The dreams have failed the animals wail

All of this broken stuff around
I'll pick up this arrow
Shoot it straight and strong but I won't kill you my little dear
I can't stand to see you suffer with that broken arrow!

Could I lay with those soulful eyes
Could I lie that you not bear this burden
Or feel the fears of a thousand years within you

I can't stand to see it suffer limping around
Can't watch with blind eyes as it 1/2 falls to the ground
