What have you spent your live achieving?
None of that matters, loved ones left grieving
And for the man who prays I truly pity
Wasted time on unattainable divinity
When your on your deathbed don't you pray
To whatever misguided god that put you there
Still shaken by a constant whisper
Selfish indulgence of words thought pure
Embrace the solace of silence

Humans that are flawed and fake
Are these people what those words make?

Burning at the stake in a fiery incineration
The roaring blaze so easily douses salvation
Don't weep for my lack of faith its enough to make me sick
Pitiful excuse for a lack of control

Now slowly dying blood splatters and screaming
A young life cut short with no meaning
