Shooting At a Mirror

I attempt to escape, stay away from her
No matter where i go, it feels like she's there
Surrounding, cornering me
Awaiting for the smallest distraction to make another slave
I turn around and see her taking someone instead
Underneath her warm realm
I take the pistol to try to halt his defeat
But i can't force my hand to shoot
A glance at the aim to find myself
Shooting at a mirror
No one is hurt besides me
I come to realize that she's also within me
The ones she's embraced have been me and you
And so will be again and again
Accept her presence and fight her with bare hands
For it's easier to shoot at an outsider
Than aiming at our own selves
