Strange Reality

I'm lost in a path without end
I feel so lonely
Can't believe that I'm still alone
My mind is in a deep despair

Each day that passes
I drown deeper into this path
And feel more distant from my salvation
While Lucifer laughs at my afflictions
And the angels cry for my soul
On the edge of the abysm

Strange reality
I see my life passing by
Through my eyes
With the speed of a lightning

Now I realize where I came
With this addict which I still bear within me
Just like a child who can't forget it's nightmares

I see Death calling me
With his scythe on his hands
To take me, to kill me
Only your forgiveness will save me
And free me so I will be able to restart
Over things I had left behind
