Good Day

It's Monday at noon
Sitting on Zoom in my living room
My therapist's cat jumps on her lap
Stands up and she's still in her pajama pants

Just thinking out loud
Hear myself say that I'm really proud
At this time last year didn't think I'd be here
Got some Prozac as a souvenir

I'm not gonna fight it not this time
I feel inspired if only for a while

I'm used to reeling
Feeling alright was a fleeting thing
