Time And Money

Life always seems to have its ways
a balancing act for better or worse
when my time arrives I'm sure I'll know
but until that day comes I'll just have to play
stick it out, play this game of life

I spend my time
like I spend my money
I don't need much
cuz I don't do much
cuz I don't have much of either

I jumped straight in, it took me by surprise
it hit me real hard, then knocked me down
never thought I could be someone I hated
my vision's faded, this I've created
oh my God, this is not my life

Most of life's best times come in disguise
waiting takes forever I'll just leave all that behind
