When God Gets Through

Please be patient with me
God is making something beautifully
He's shaping and molding me in every way
He is the Potter and I am the clay

When God
(When God gets through with me)
I'm gonna be
(I'm gonna be what He wants me to be)
However long it takes
(how long it takes I don't even know)
But when He gets through
(When He gets through I'll come forth like pure gold)

Sometimes I say thing that I should not say
God is making me better every day
To be in His will is my only desire
I know with Him I'll go higher and higher
