Haze

I wake up from the same nightmare again
The sweat covers my body
While my tremulous hands
Try to calm my body.

The images fall down like rain on me
Everything begins again
I remain in my room
Its darkness puts my mind at ease.

Inside these four walls i’ve spent my life
The sadness has stained them completely.
There are nights that i want to go out
Get mixed between them and face everything,
But what happens outside is not better.

The distress and the horror on their faces
