A majestic spell
Cast over one-thousand years
The heretics fell
Engines impervious to spears

Crushing the prophets of the goat-gods
Replace them with the lamb
the complacent son

This divine right
Affluence decreed by God
Mandated to destroy
A chaste harvest of blood for all

Portent of end times in the here and now
Welcomed by hypocrites

A sure reading denied and mocked
The true seers dismissed as witches
