Her painted smile, reflection a mask
Protected to shade, hurt vicious eyes
Gathering her strength in amulets of silver
Whilst they,
Dance in the shadows
Shrink from the light
Emulating death whilst spinning crucifying lies,
But no more

Memories now present for the sins of the past
