Bound To Be Crucified

From the day I was born I was bound to fight
On the side of the underdogs every night
Licking the wounds from my earlier fights
Trying to defend my so called rights
They cut me open again and again and again
The bleeding just won’t come to an end
In the shadow of violence there’s no way out
I cannot hide my face in the crowd

Why have I been betrayed
Why have I been forsaken
Bound to be crucified

There’s a price to pay for when you cross the line
But in my case the punishment doesn’t fit the crime
An answer for the cause that’s what I seek
