This week has been crazy, won't even try to unpack it
Some of it good, some of it bad, some of it tragic
Growing up we really think we know it all
You really feel invincible until your heroes fall
I tried to put on my face, but it was way to hard to fake it
I could hardly take it, my body's shaking, yo my heart is aching
Something told me to catch up, told me to pay attention
Told me it was important, the old me just wouldn't listen
We'll hold your memory close until we see you again
And tomorrow, maybe we can try to come to amends
But tonight, we'll toast to all of our fallen family and friends

Last week I dropped my album, yeah it all starts with bliss
This week I get a call that makes me sick
Neither one of us put in the time, so we're left with this
