Behind The Veil

Nature was their only friend
Air, fire, water and earth in the end
And the fifth element the free spirit
They knew how to fight for liberty
They were proud of their wisdom
The only ones really happy true freedom

The new church their false allied
Innocence betrayers the victims cry
Clandestine knowledge bitter deception
Put aside by the new greedy religion

There were survivors in the madness
But there was no vengeance
They know the past and the future
Good and evil perfection and failure
The truth about the mysteries was never lost
It just waited for the storm to pass that´s the cost

Wanting secular power blind by ambition
Excess and religious oppression

Death to the free conscience
The choices ended commence the violence

Rituals turned into political crimes
All the true words became lies
Everyone persecuted and incriminated
Christianity needed to be amplified
