Purgatory

Not knowing time was getting low
Not feeling near the lips of death
For all the pain that I have brought
Now creatures lurking from the underworld

They try to rip my heart and soul
Where is the place that I belong to

What have I done?
Kill, rape, break bones

My judgement will come
Death, hate, burn homes

Nowhere to run
No peace where you roam

This can’t be hell and this can’t be heaven
Twilight all around am I trapped in a purgatory
What can I do to free my mind and soul?
What can I do to flee from this purgatory?
Can’t be heaven, can’t be hell, purgatory, purgatory

Long time ago I was a different man
Fought for the poor and the brave
But all the glory poisoned my mind
And soon I was called the

Black knight with a sword of steel
Riding on the wings of my doom
Harvest the land for myself
Until my time has passed by

Now at the end I’m standing at the crossroad
Which way is mine will be shown
On my way into the unknown
I still hope there’s a prayer for me

Will I stand before some heaven’s gate?
Or burn in hell
My dying soul seeks revelation
What is my fate? Pray for me to rest in peace
