And there she was at my door
So young, so pretty
Exactly how I remembered her

I rubbed my eyes trying to understand
Maybe I knew
Maybe I knew I was dreaming, somehow

So I looked her in the eyes
And asked again and again
Why’d you leave me?

And it all seemed like a bad joke
After all it was me who left her

Since then, from time to time
I catch myself thinking about this
What does it mean?
I don’t really know
I just can't get it out of my head
