It's been a long time since you've been gone
Had to forget you to carry on
But it's late, and i'm losing all my sleep
I've never felt it like this before
Not sure you love me anymore
But it's there, you can have it if you want
I don't know words that will make it work out right
Or an excuse for my heart the other night
It's been sewn where the seams had come apart
But it's still a safe place for us to start
