It is openin' day and a brand new start
The stores are bein' cleared around the fishermen's huts

Fairy lights on a buildin' that's supplyin' us power from the sea

View the famous sunrise cutting half by the sky
And the empty of the desert
Team of birds that swerve by and the land on the horizon

When it's time to escape from the heavier things

I find this country of mine get some bad reputation
Of being cold and grey
But on the coast of this south to the east follow ground
I find serenity I've never found
