The caravan moves slowly by
The dog is smiling in the back
By day the Sun is burning white
By night a million stars and the black

Nobody cares to make a sound
And life carries on
Long as the dog stays in the back
And everyday is like another

They love each other
Less than last night
More than tomorrow
But it's not insight

The day is perfect
They feel alright
Deep in the forest
Wolf keeps clear of the light

He ain't gonna bite
They try to swim against the tide
A rowbeat is far too dear
They do not look to left or right

Letting the beauty disappear
There is a girl upon the hill
Her skin seems so fair
He'd give his all for such a thrill

If not for the wife sitting there
He'd love to lose a pound or two
To put it about
She doesn't have this attitude

She's looking in more than looking out
