Vengeance Is Mine

Elisha called to one of his disciples
He gave commands, mighty words from God
Go my son and find the man jehu
Anoint him king of Israel

Tell him 'go, strike down the house of ahab
Kill the bloodline of the king of doom
Take ye now this chariot of vengeance
Avenge the blood that flowed from the anointed

Pagan kings that bowed their hearts to ba'al
And all the lives cut off by jezebel

They will pay, their end is close at hand
Do make hast, their time has come and gone

The witch is dead, vengeance is mine
The king is gone, vengeance is mine
See your lives flash before your eyes

Take the heeds of ahab's many sons
And slay the witch, tormentor of the prophets
Who led astray the chosen ones of God
The dogs will feast, with nothing left to mourn

With their lives, they'll face the final judgement
Tarry not my instrument of wrath
