Merry Christmas

Now I feel a lot better but I still can't find the cheer
I want to tell you about the way I feel but I can't be sincere
I thought we had this figured out but I guess I wasn't clear
And I hoped that we'd be better off this year

We started out a little late I guess its Christmas time again
And you're not happy about the way it feels now that we are only friends
I thought I had you figured out but it's now and that was then
And I hope that we aren't starting up again
