Better Wine

There was once a Garden sin and shame eroded
If I close My eyes, I can feel the implosion
Yet in the holy mind, not a day is wasted
To dig the buried wells for the water of Eden

I could spend eternity without you by My side
But we would miss the whole point of this sacrificial life
Hidden in the Vine are the deepest mysteries
Eve was just a shadow of the bride made ready

I am your better wine

It’s in the way you choose to think of all things good and true
The way you serve and nurture everyone surrounding you
How you’re given to Me with no hesitations
Fidelity is best expressed in free obedience
