Cranes Fly Away

In spite of all our efforts
Last battle has been lost
The many went forever
Those men who were the first

The cranes are flying in the sky
The souls of heroes that have died

But racial war ain't over
And patriots still die
For that day when we nowhere

I see the cranes that fly away
Can I hope to meet them someday?
