Growing Up is A Trap

I was born in 1985
Life was good and simple at that time
I made a lot of friends at the public school
I even started a band with some dudes

But then the mirror makes you realize
Good times have gone
I try not to cry
All I have to say is
How time flies!

Growing up is a trap
Listen to your heart and you'll know the truth
Grown ups make the world sad and blue

No mom's good night when I go to the bed
No dad's coffee at morning it's so sad
The boss is smiling with your bills in his hands
So wake up early, don't be late
