Last Breath

This vessel is yours to possess
It lacerates itself and bleeds a dark bile
Drink the blood of a God
Our bright and glorious future awaits us

Burning from the inside out
Like needles stuck inside my veins
Flesh rots off of the bone and falls aside me
The creature crawls on top of me

With teeth like knives
They grind with a fury
A growl so loud it shakes the ground
Just shy of a dead silence

The manifestation attached itself to me
Circulating through my bloodstream
It's looking for something
It's inside of my mind

Just take me as you please - Engorge me with evil
But if what you say is true - I will surrender myself to you
I'm not ready to say goodbye - I'm not ready to die

The shadows creep towards the light
It intends to devour me whole
I can't hold it off
The light feels as a murmur deep within
It's vibrations faintly echo

And like that, My last breath is drawn from me
The color fades away from my soul and my heart stops abruptly
The light goes away
