Memories.
Flood my mind.
And I'm drowning.
They wash away.
Thoughts of anything.

But you.
I lie awake.
In the dark.
And I'm crying.
Watching stars.
Making wishes.
That I hope come true.

You bring me to my knees.
I'd do anything. Anything.
To bring you back to me.
I know it's all my fault.

But that doesn't make the pain any less.
In my eyes. The brightest of skies.
Still seem gray.

All they do. Is remind me how little you care.
I've never been so scared.
That when I wake up.
I'll never see you again.
