When i was young, i had the greatest dreams
Imaginary visions of who i wanted to be
I wanted to fly,
And honestly nothing's changed
Except surroundings and the people condescending saying wait are you crazy, out of your mind? kid get your act together while there's still time.
And maybe it got to me, but hey, i shook it off
But for her, words had never really hit that soft.
She was fifteen
