Relentless Love

I live in complete darkness, eyes closed for fear of light
But soon it drew me in, never could I go back

And this light is too bright, but the longer I stay in
The more my eyes will adjust, and the more that I can see
And I swear I'll find You, I swear to God I'll find You
And if I burn alive, it'll be at Your feet

My eyes will wrought out, and tears will bleed red
If they're not satisfied
This blood will run dry, and soul will crumble
Come down, my Love!

There were winds of power, but You weren't in them
And the earth was shaken, how empty it was
Then the fire came down, and still it was void
But I heard a whisper, and I had found my Love!

The sound of Your voice, is more than all these things
The wind quake and fire, were to no avail
Our wisdom in full, You gave to worthlessness
And hidden Your own, in a still, small voice

But nothing is worth anything (meaningless!)
Our lives no more than the sun's span
Over and over, there is nothing new
Therefore we look to the One, who never changes
