As I wake
As I take a sharp gasp of air my whole body stagnates
Staring into the black of a darkened room
My existence transpires

My whole feeling is numb
I have no more questions
I have no more cause
I no longer desire control
Because everything's lost its worth

Reclusive and tameless
Blocking out all the lights
No more bullshit to see
No chance for progression
Just a small husk of life
Trapped and bound

Why the fuck am I here?
Hermetical instincts
Will I ever find purpose?

Stepping onto the path of pain
Every step I take leads to despair
I don't know where to go
What direction to take
My existence has gone astray
Solitude takes me away

Unresponsive to hands reaching out
The ones who are beckoning and calling my name
Trapped in an ocean
Growing attached to the isolation

Vicious and restless
Get a glimmer of hope
Salvage what's left of me
Drifting out of direction
Maybe only by chance I'll arrive on the shores

Giving in, defeated, no hope for return
How can I exist in a world that's been torn apart?
