Wolves eaten by the dogs
Masses herded by the demagogues
Like the piper they lead
The rats through the streets
Power over people (dog eat dog)
Inflict pain or suffer yourself
Why show concern or remorse
When selfishness reigns
A song carried on the winds
To enslave and oppress again
Too foolish to care,
Drunken with the comforts of life

Lost in a trance, a tribal dance
All hypnotized, their empty eyes
A waltz of damnation begins again
A vile descant to claim all minds

Waltz...

Such hatred, it racks my brain
Death and pain for the power game
Played into bloody hands
Can nature really be defied
We glorify war (plague of man)
For bits of paper and baubles
Why must our children die
For the whims of the few?
Yet all are responsible
Our very breath feeds the orchestra
In this decrepit music hall
Dance away your life

Free yourself from the madness
Let greed and hatred consume
And you shall be lost in the waltz
Condemned with the fallen
To a life of slavery and suffering
The choice is yours to make
Who's chain will you break
