Can't stop the train

I am on my way on a train
steaming along in the rain
from the life I lived before.
I have a tear in my eye
sometimes it's easy to cry
though I'm not a child anymore.

Can't stop the train from rolling
or make the wheels turn slow
you know I had to go.

I am on the run from my home
somehow I'll make it alone
