She's on the soccer team, hangs out at Dairy Queen
She gets good grades in school, knows smoking isn't cool
She don't talk to kids in other parts of town
And that's what brings her down
Deep down inside, she's burning up, suburban life has filled her cup
She's been wanting to leave for so long, but she's stuck here in a Babylon

Mirella - thought she was out of my league

In my van we drove till quarter to nine
She said take off your pants, we'll have a good time
Got out while she undressed but to my distress
She drove away, in my dad's new caravan
Into oblivion and out of sight, daddy's little angel has taken flight

I try to call her up, but she can't be found
