In life - It's darkness versus light
It's time to fight
And take control of a world in pain
Deceit - In everything I see
Uncertainty that steals my breath and my air
Does anybody out there really care
We sacrifice then life it slice up every prayer

The greed - Is thrown right in our face
The politics they claw
And rip all the hearts in need
It seems - A thousand years can pass
For life to plant it's seeds of hope again
I can't stand the lies they want us to believe
The price is too high for us to be deceived

The mighty dollar spent in vein
All the wounded lives and hungry eyes
Are trying to survive
The waves of evil
The waves of pain
It breaks our back and racks our brains
Cause some sleeping on a homeless bed
Are dying from the strain

These times are lethal
This world's in pain

We can fight these demons
Fear won't pull us under

Destroys the devil's knock
