This is what it feels like
To give unconditional love to someone
Who will never have the privilege
To fill their lungs with the air on this earth

Did we do something to deserve this?
The deepest sorrow anyone can bear
Or did we ask too much of this world?
While the ghosts of my past, linger forever

I've been told to be grateful

But, have a guess what's its like

To lose someone before you had the chance to meet them
I never felt the warmth of your embrace
Only goodbyes

Apathetic to the pain of gripping death
So unnerving to feel this emptiness
The eternal regress

To be the planet with a dying Sun
To feel the loss of your fucking soul
My vital life force has been stripped to none
Searching through the void
My psyche begins to break
The separation from serotonin
Keeping me asleep
