Life Is Elsewhere

I had a thought
A thought that was gone it's coming back now
It lit a fire all over the West it's coming back now
It threw our bodies and would knock is around it's coming back now
It made us feel that's all that we need but life is elsewhere

Sweet thoughts of comfort and grace it never takes much
We'd get drunk on a diet of lust we never needed much
You loved the wind and it's touch on your face I never saw much
It took form, took you away and said life is elsewhere

Steady back it won't take long
Steady back you've got the throne
Steady back it's never so clear
Steady back it's always near
