As "castaway" is said, play the verse sequence X2. ===Verse 2=== Same as verse 1, but new lyrics. I'm riding on the night train and driving stolen cars testing my nerves out on the boulevards Spontaneous combustion on the corners of my mind leaving in the lurch and I'm taking back what's mine. ===Bridge=== Do the bridge again. ===Chorus=== Do the chorus again. ===Solo=== This is quite hard to get right, but just get the notes out. They all fit in well with the chords.E|------------------------------- B|-7-------7--7------7--7-10p7-7- G|---11r9-------9b11------------- D|------------------------------- A|------------------------------- E|------------------------------- E|------------------------| B|10p7-7-10p7-7-10p7-9b11-| G|------------------------| D|------------------------| A|------------------------| E|------------------------|===Verse 3=== Bass plays on it's own through the next verse ===Bridge=== Guitar joins back in. Normal bridge. ===Chorus=== The chorus plays though a few times, and that's it. Here's an alternate, just slightly trickier version of the verse and chorus that may be played or may not. I can't quite make out. Anyway, I play it like this:B5 G#5 E5 E|------------------------------- B|------------------------------- G|------------------------------- D|-9-9-9-9---6-6-6-6---2-2-2-2--- A|-9-9-9-9---6-6-6-6---2-2-2-2--- E|-7-7-7-7---4-4-4-4---0-0-0-0--- B5 Bb5 E|------------------| B|------------------| G|------------------| D|9-9-9-9-8---------| X 4 A|9-9-9-9-8---------| E|7-7-7-7-6---------|It's just a little harder to sneak that little Bb5 before going round again. If you can, play that as it just makes it a little less boring. That's all! ================================================== ================================================== I'm begging you, if you're thinking of doing a tab, don't post it unless it's complete. Poor tabs piss everyone off, and they usually contain the following:- *No words *Very vague description of playing tips (E.G "The song's tuned down, but I don't know how much) *No chord names *Mistakes (obviously not always avoidable) *Bits missing (like the chorus, solo's, you know the major bits of the song) If you have the e-mail address of someone who does a real poor tab, please just give them a polite word of advice. If they give you gyp, send 'em to me! Seriously though, there's nothing more annoying that poor tabs.
Composition: Billie Joe, Green Day, Tre Cool, Bob Sherman, and Dick Sherman
