Forever Asleep (Dead)

There I was
Breathing in the pain
Even before birth I was long dead
I entered this world with a void in my heart
A void that could never be filled

So many broken promises
Accompanied by hurtful memories
Never to feel the tears of relief
Not in my lifetime
