With the first breath of morning dew
On a cold November´s day
An old man went to the shore
And stared at the grey mists above

Wounded his body but proud enough to set the sails

His enemies blood covers the soil

One final time to sail over the oceans dark and wild
One more time thou sharpenst the blade and and look up high
The one-eyed god will welcome thee where the ravens fly
On thy last journey no one will be by your side
The family is left behind and when they wake
Mother and children will sing a silent song
While the little boat dirfts far away
Under a stormclouded sky life comes to a sudden end
And as waves hit the boat like iron fists
A brave man dies eye in eye with mother nature
Valkyres are sent to bring him high above the grey mists
