Medium Black

It shines through my glorious past
The miserable life I've been leading

Trophies of capitalism
Mark my ground

As I march through my
Medium black existence

Feasting on my own utopia
Starving my soul to death
Willingly playing my role
In this soul shattering void
I call my life

Slowly fading from all
Consciousness of who I am
Or what I was
Becoming a numb puppet,
A property of a rule
A model I must fit into
And give up myself
