Following Divide

Days are slowing down, and I’m awakening
The thunder in the ground, to say my name
Watching as the blue in the sky turns into grey
Something in the spring took my breath and ran away

So you figured right
I have been wanting something to change the way I see this life
Then I could live with some kind of confidence

If I were to break you
The game would over
Where is the thrill in that?

I wish I could step out of this world
& find something to trust on the other side
I’d come back when I feel stranger still

Every thought immersed goes to try me
I dreamt this kind of curse knows an end
Call the way I break every time I feel alone
Smoke has held my eyes longer than I could have known
