No one eats meat anymore
The TV shows are all in good taste
They figured out where to put nuclear waste
They put the Berlin Wall back up
And put the lawyers all behind it
Everyone was convinced they'd crack
But it turns out none of them really minded
And of course by this point, people do nothing but smile
And of course by this point, style was going out of style
And of course by this point, I had been dead awhile
They put a guy on Mars
They found a cure for cancer
They solved all the urban problems
They solved all the rural problems too
They put good food in all the stores
And everybody now is so happy
They put an end to all the world wars
And everybody now is so god damned happy
And of course by this point, people do nothing but smile
And of course by this point, Africa drank up the Nile
And of course by this point, I had been dead awhile
Only God was left, unless it was the Devil
Either way, the playing field was now level
And the bars all still closed at one
But no one gave a damn cos life was so fun
Biker chicks and surfer dudes
Were everybody's favorite foods
And world peace was finally achieved
By making all the losers leave
