Lights under the sky
Reminding me how
We'll meet again tomorrow.
Imagining years from now
With the backdrop ever changing,
We'd remain the only constant.
I was fine trusting you.
You were clever and inspired,
Building all the bombs that I threw.
The years from now we spoke of then have come and gone.
What I've done out of fear of being alone.

The sky stretches out
