Is this pain real if all i can feel is numbness down to my toes
and now because I'm closing old scars does that mean we'll be okay?

For this war we've fought over and over again.

One reason for feelings that feel like I do keep clouding my eyes
to stop me seeing you.
And that way it will stay if feelings cannot change
the way that this hangs over our heads and hides us in shame.

Distance is running too making miss yous take longer to come
so I've got to make it abundantly clear that it's true.
