Here I am safe and sound seating by the heater
Thinking about the past…. Yep
I've been lucky I could always analyse the situation
I could always stop and think

How are you characters of this theatre?
That every now and then plays in my mind

Do you play the same roles?
Do you say the same lines?
Don't you already know all the old lies?

And here I am not feeling guilty
Not crying about the way I should have followed
Have you ever consider any of the ways in front of you?
Do you at least see them?
Don't you know things don't have to be like everybody says!?
