A Wish

You used to be a modest soul had no one,
You stood alone something must've have snapped in your head
The way you acted the other day confused, misused,
I couldn't say held myself and inside
I bled a wish or a longing for, always wanting so much more
I don't understand you at all
You say that i ain't right, full of bigotry and spite don't want your opinion, wouldn't listen anyway
I try, i'll try to prove to you sometimes i try, i'd try but you'd just walk away from me
A blunt, absurd request, on your command! ? at your behest?! this truly what you think the world is?
I'd try to open your eyes, but acting dull's my best disguise no reason to go start a fight
