Time slowly fades as I react in the moment
Chronology embellishes me
Minutes turn to hours, hours to days
And then the sun escapes from me
Oh how could this be?
The only guiding light I had around to see
Now the shadows bind to me

These things we'll never know until we view them with our eyes
Change is the only constant we can safely assure in our lives

Only then is it apparent

What is the light without the dark inside
