Born of the flames that burn you
Thorn in the flesh that you fear

Faith is the downfall of man
Truth is the enemy of God

Tempter of reason defied
Accuser of all that’s divine

I drink from the lake of fire
I praise no lord or messiah
The serpent who tests the pious
The lion who devours the deceitful

You wage your war, your holy war on us all
You’ll be met with the fury, the fury of a thousand suns

For I am not alone
