Upside Down

I woke up in a different side
That I could never imagine that is real
I couldn't feel the touch of the world
Even less talking to those I loved

All my beliefs were fighting against me
And I had no defense
All that I put importance, was merely an illusion

Upside down
The way I’ve seen
What one day belonged to me
It felt like I dedicated too much for nothing (inside out)
The world has fallen on me
And I've felt as if there was no tomorrow

(Life) carries on and now I know
How much I left behind
But everyone has a chance
To live again
And by living again we will discover ourselves

(I was) an abandoned soul
Stunned by the purest reality
I had nowhere to go
My presence became my own martyr

Then after years feeling an intense pain
I decided to accept the death
And through total darkness
I understood the meaning of life
