The Dark Lord

I’d like to film the tale
Of The Lord Of The Rings
And nothing is to help me
Except Gandalf’s wizardry

I liked to smoke a pipe
Of Longbottom Leaf
While Frodo’s in Torech Ungol
And I safely in my bed

Mr. Tolkien keeps riding
On his flying chair
To the distant corners of his realm
He buys a fresh strong chair
To get him everywhere
But then the journey is too short

Wish that someone put the tale
Into a comic strip
And nothing would be better
Than Harold Foster’s pen

Barad-dûr the vast fortress
Could be a feast to him
Or Strider and Minas Tirith
Frodo is a hard nut to crack
