Nights In The Abyss

Wide awake, in my disturbing silence
The serenity of night cannot appease my mind

Irrational panic takes my breath away
If silence is melancholic, noise is agony

All lies I believed in, all battles I’ve lost
Wounds that I healed once but, I cannot heal anymore
I stare the abyss, taken by despair
And I cannot tell you if I’m in or out there

Buried under the ashes
Of my annihilated dreams
