A Child's Cry

A precious little girl
Stood outside her parents' door
She could not understand
Why they fought so much and swore
She closed her eyes and prayed,
Oh she asked for something more
She asked the Lord,
What's life worth living for?
A single little tear fell from her eye
And then the Lord replied
